An important vote was held over changes to the constitution which gained the support of more than 80% of the Members.
Today MerJa Media filmed an extra romantic style music video for Sydney singer John Khalko. The beautiful girl in the song was played by the lovely Sandra who has recently moved here from Barcelona, Spain.
John hasn’t achieved International stardom just yet so we were happy to assist him with our special discounted rate for a two camera shoot and a day of editing. For us at MerJa Media the most important reward is working on fun, creative projects and making friends with lovely people.
Sandra and John pose with our makeup artist and a passer by who got roped into our production crew at the last moment.
Although the sky looked a little threatening the rain held off till we were safely back in the edit booth. You should be able to watch the finished video in just a few days.

Sydney Fox and Dingo Rescue currently provide day-to-day care for close to 100 animals at their south west Sydney shelter, some are permanent residents¸ others are waiting to be adopted or undergoing medical care. They are the only dedicated Fox Rescue centre in Australia and one of the only Dingo Rescues.
For 6 years Sydney Fox and Dingo Rescue have provided a safe haven to animals that had no-where else to turn. They have helped save the lives of over a 100 foxes, 80 dingoes, 180 cats, 50 rabbits and many other animals. They’ve helped hundreds of families find the perfect animal companion and hundreds of animals recover, heal and learn to love again.
Sydney Fox and Dingo Rescue also help educate people young and old about animals and the environment and provide a voice for animals who don’t have one of their own.
Now the shelter is under threat and needs to find a new, permanent home. MerJa Media helped out by providing a free videographer and editing for their crowdfunding video.
You can help these animals find a new home by donating to their chuffed campaign and by sharing it on social media.
One afternoon in January 2015, the Dutch journalist Frederike Geerdink was working in her apartment in Diyarbakir, south-east Turkey, when she was disturbed by a knock at the door. It was eight fully armed anti-terrorist police.
As they began searching her home, filming everything with a camcorder, they told her she was suspected of disseminating “terrorist propaganda”. Her alleged crime, publishing “supportive” articles (i.e. factual articles) about the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party.
We were fortunate enough to be invited to film her talk on the revolution in Rojava (Northern Syria)
Today MerJa Media offered it’s services to help the wonderful Sydney Fox and Dingo Rescue charity create a crowd funding video. This involved getting licked by puppies, patting bunnies, cuddling cats, chasing dingoes and other fun activities like trying to recover a mic cover from a fox named Ghost. A dream job in other words. More news about their exciting campaign very soon!
